A 40 year student of B.K.S. Iyengar, Maureen Tribe, Bruce Carruthers, Donna Farhi, *Risa Kaparo, Mantak Chia, and Thomas W. Myers, Dhyana further embodied their work while teaching Yoga for 30 years.

Seeing the connections between these modalities, she infused Yoga with Chikung energy 
 and Connective Tissue "Anatomy Trains" to create Matrix Somatic Yoga. Surfing the 12 meridian cycle into Yoga poses heals joints and organs.

This synthesis resulted in the discovery of a revolutionary technique which Dhyana calls the Somatic WAve
. It has brought healing to the spinal and pelvic injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash that originally started her journey into body-mind-spirit fitness.

It is also a prerequisite for attending classes.
